Environment & Social Research Organization (ESRO) is an NGO (registered under Societies Registration Act, XXI of 1860). ESRO was established on May 16, 2013. ESRO is conceptualized and led by young, energetic, enthusiastic, educated professionals, all of whom have a dream to eradicate various environmental and social problems from society. The intention is to put in efforts for a better tomorrow – for human beings as well as all other living creatures – rather than taking an anthropocentric approach. ESRO endeavors to fight problems and concerns regarding environment, education, health etc. in urban slums and rural and tribal areas of India.

ESRO provides integrated solutions to complex problems in diverse areas of Environment, Health and Social Development. The core issues being addressed by ESRO are urban solid waste management, sanitation, conservation of water resources, health system, rural development, livelihood & improvement of urban slums, forestry and eco-development.
